What is the reason for creating departments?
In the Finance Module when you are creating a Settlement for a company to pay for its lessons you can either calculate the amount owing for each group; or you can apportion the cost of lessons to the students’ respective departments.

How to create a Department
Go to Companies – Departments tab and click “Add department“.
A card will appear:
- Enter the department name.
- Click Save.
Assigning Students to Departments:
- Open the “Not assigned” list.
- Click “Assign to department” for the student you wish to assign.
Select the department you want to assign the department to and click Save:
And the student will be listed as assigned:
